The Valley’s Regional Efforts

Smart Valley Places is not only an opportunity for change; it allows for a comprehensive analysis of the Valley’s regional efforts.  Through the development of an integrated plan for regional growth, a Valleywide assessment of current and future efforts will identify short- and long-term impacts from additional capital being invested in this region.  Unlike other regions in California, the Valley has already aligned its resources through the California Partnership for the San Joaquin Valley and is leveraging opportunities to maximize investment and to best serve our citizens. As the Valley continues to elevate, by the inclusion of high-speed rail and other significant initiatives, additional investment in the Valley will benefit the entire nation.
